Course Sweeps

Ride assigned portions of course after cut-off times to ensure the course is clear of riders and trash.

Also picks up course ribbons and signs. Suggested to carry backpack to carry trash. Should also carry a few inner tubes, CO2 cartridges or pump, and small wrench tools to help anyone stuck because of a mechanical.

Sweep 1. course guide #2, arroyo trabuco trail junction to O’Neill Park entrance… 2 volunteers
Sweep 2. O’Neill Park entrance to Vista via Live Oak trail, sweep Vista and the bypass Coyote Canyon and back thru O’Neill Park via twisty tire and Plano Trabuco to the Aid Station at Dove Waterfall…2 volunteers
Sweep 3. Caspers Park loop (3a) and Bell Ridge trail to Dove Waterfall (3b)…3 volunteers
Sweep 4. Dove waterfall past Santa Margarita H.S. on Tijeras Creek trail to Coto de Caza gate and across to chiqita ridge trail, continue to Tijeras Creek trail connector and Tijeras Creek trail to Waterworks trail and bypass and Tijeras Creek trail to Curtis Park junction trail, and back to start/finish…3 volunteers
Sweep 5. 10 mile ride course…2 volunteers

Instructions and additional information will be provided regarding enforcing cutoff times.
